I wish the lad all the best...he'd have played about 40 first team games for us over the last two seasons

Don’t blame him, leaving this basket case and ending up at a well run top club like Leicester.

After yesterday I bet he doesn’t regret it one bit.

Wern't the fined over £3M a couple of years ago for 'cheating'...though they got off light, could easily have been deducted 12pts if they hadn't escaped to the prem.

But they got up and went on to win the Premier League and have now established themselves as one of the better teams in the country.

Yeah...

But you didn't know they cheated to do it....did you.

lol

I did, they would have been done for FFP. But they didn’t and they went on to be run very successfully for a small club compared to a lot of teams below them.

Hirst joined them years later. I don’t blame him.

They were fined 3million quid...for cheating.

Only difference is their bet came in...

Ours didn't..

Yeah, well above board what Leicester have done.

As you have been critical of the way Chansiri has run the club, rightly so in some respects, I'd be interested to know what you think of this in terms of how a club operates:

The way they signed Hirst was a bit off as well don't you think?

Fully aware. But their gamble paid off. Plus their owners built on promotion, made some incredibly shrewd signings for very little money and went on to win the Premier League.

If they failed to go up they had potential money from Mahrez and Vardy to fall back on. Which would have probably fetched them £50m.
