alanharper
He's put some timber on, I saw him play for us at Cambridge and despite his height he looked very lightweight. Looked quite sharp today, got in positions for a couple of half chances in his few minutes on the pitch.

After yesterday I bet he doesn’t regret it one bit.

I did, they would have been done for FFP. But they didn’t and they went on to be run very successfully for a small club compared to a lot of teams below them. Hirst joined them years later. I don’t blame him. Edited July 20, 2020 by SallyCinnamon

As you have been critical of the way Chansiri has run the club, rightly so in some respects, I'd be interested to know what you think of this in terms of how a club operates: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/apr/11/leicester-city-finances-football-league-financial-fair-play-investigation The way they signed Hirst was a bit off as well don't you think? But their gamble paid off. Plus their owners built on promotion, made some incredibly shrewd signings for very little money and went on to win the Premier League. If they failed to go up they had potential money from Mahrez and Vardy to fall back on. Which would have probably fetched them £50m.
