Yellowbelly
I’d start in championship with a -21 deduction. Would make our 1st place finish with 100+ points even more amazing.
the third man
Depending on the next few months the championship may consist of 24 teams from the bottom three divisions that can afford to play next season

League 1 and League 2 may not even start next season, football and Sky only care about the Premier League and Champions League. Most of the lower League clubs will go out of business. Sad but there's far more important things than sport but the game is over, as far as I'm concerned it will never be the same again. Football has been living beyond its means (at all levels including the Prem) for far too long. Maybe this pandemic and economic crisis could turn out to be a much needed complete reset for English football? Some clubs may unfortunately never recover, but hopefully most will and for those going into administration perhaps the creditors might need to take a big haircut and perhaps going forwards players and their agents need to earn less. We'd still be in the championship, in with a marginal chance of staying up. I'd rather be in it to win it than not in it at all. If we were in League One, there's no guarantee we'd get promoted at the first, second or third time of trying either.
McRightSide
-12 in the Championship Otherwise you’re -80+ from being in the Championship

Mister Soul
Championship.. although as touched by others there may not be a league one next season .. the EFL will absolutely not want the shame of one of its biggest clubs not having a league to play in
matthefish2002
Going against the grain but think I would rather start in League 1. Starting on minus 12 no decent players would wan to come and think it would be a long slow death towards relegation.
Dutch McLovin
14 hours ago, Guest Mr Tom said: If we stick with Monk, it'll be like having a 25 point deduction Very true. stay in championship on -12 get a new management team in and prepare for the season accordingly. If we’re able to spend them with the right man do it, if we’re not get some astute signings in and aim for lower mid table. Going down is a disaster regardless of COVID

Worse than Jos All you're doing is make people worry for your mindset Repetitively posting the same thing all day every day is offering nothing new, convincing nobody, because you're not giving us any sensible intelligent debate on why Monk should be replaced. You're just posting 'he's rubbish' over and over and over Owlstalk Shop

Want to stay in the champ even with a minus. Do think LG 1 will start and could be a walk over as if clubs cannot complete fixtures then points awarded to who they were going to play and the club gets hit with fines and deductions. Any lg1 club with cash in the bank would be fine. The bigger picture long term is that lg2 is not viable in its current form and lg1 should possibly go regional.
