He's answering a question put to him by the journalists

Worratwat!

I want a proper manager who tells journalists to f*ck off, flips the table over and storms out each week.

None of this answering questions sh*te. It's this kind of cr*p that's been dragging our club down for decades.

What we need is to bring back the dream team of Carlos the clown for the smiles and Joss the dross for the frowns. Be better than the failing Monk.

If you're going to stick to these mind-numbingly puerile nicknames, you should at least be consistent...Monk can't go without.

Let's see: you could go with something that rhymes...um, 'Monk the junk' is suitably infantile but doesn't really make sense. Not sure how much that matters given your other nicknames, though. Depending on how you feel about him, you could always run with 'Monk the hunk'? Or how about 'Monk the spunk'? Sounds a bit too Antipodean, perhaps?

If it's alliteration you want, you've got a few more options: 'Monk the muppet' is pretty childish and fits your m.o., or depending on how wordy you want to be, you could try, 'Monk the mope'; 'Monk the malevolent'; 'Monk the maddening'; or 'Monk the misfit'.

I'll leave it with you.

So did well at Swansea, finished 8th in only full season then got sack when 15th and look how they have improved since then.

Leeds got challenging for play offs and have only improved under 1 of the worlds best managers.

Boro just out side playoffs and sacked, again done well since.

Brum finished mid table with a poor squad even after a points deduction.

Give the guy time ffs.

I want Monk to succeed, I want to see him with his own coaching team, his own players then we can properly judge him.

He's made mistakes he probably knows this.

Let's be right here, the majority of these players have failed Carlos, Bullen, Jo's and Monk.

We just need to get to the summer and do a complete rebuild, we can't keep replacing managers and keeping the same squad and the same problem exists.

Ross Wallaces video regarding Carlos told us a lot about the squad, Bullen said there was something fundamental wrong with the squad in his first caretaker role, Jos knew something too and then Monk said what he said after the Wigan game.

The squad is the problem.

Steve Bruce did too

He said it would take three transfer windows to flush this squad out

He is in a big transition phase so it is difficult to judge him to be fair him.

I'm not a fan of his negative tactics but slowly you can see that we are looking a little bolder with our attacking style.

The plan seems to be going forward to bring in talented young players and play them alongside the more experienced players, Bannan been the obvious example.

Who ever is doing the talent spotting holds the key to not only Monks future but the clubs over the next few years.

Does Monk have what it takes?  I do believe that a manager needs two, three seasons to build a team/squad.

Interesting times.

when big jack took over he stabilised us, then made us hard to beat, then made us hard to stop from winning.

since ole coke left numerous managers have seen the need to rid us of the 'old guard'. it was too much for jos.

likely monk has the trust of dc to take this a huge step further, i look at bannon and think what would we be without him?, now i think will he still be here come next season?

revolution or evolution?

Monk did a brilliant job at Leeds(initially) & his record is better than ANY other Leeds Manager,in the last 10 Years before the current incumbent!.The alleged shambles at Hillsborough,is beyond belief, with us now facing a points deduction, and potentially relegation to the old 3rd Division(never mind,we can call it'Championship' 2 instead!)

We as a club, have sunk lower than a snake on a submarine, but its ALL Monks fault...REALLY?.IF we manage to gather enough points to stay in the Division ,after any deduction(got to hope thats what happens,so we start next season square) that TOO will be down to Monk.

NO (fair) judgement of Monk could be done until such a time,as he has a chance to offer up his own team, and bring in his own players. The situation we find ourselves in,is well documented,is NOT down to Monk, but rather allegedly the Players on the field, and the player issues that he has inherited.

Jos TOO with multiple injury's(and curtesy of Big Dave & Lucas's goals) kept us in the division, and whilst recognising his limitations as a Manager(and being glad he went, when he did) in retrospect what he allegedly had to deal with whilst at the Club, has been laid bare for all to see since.(and may explain why he felt NO alternative but to turn to the 'kids')

What is the point of continually calling for the Managers head?...Kill the bearer of bad news anyone?

Would love to know what 'knowing' about football is

the actual understanding that ramming half a dozen into the opposition goal without reply is better than winning 1-0 and passing it square and back half the time.

it's like would you rather see the dressage at the showjumping, or a mike tyson fight.
