Guest Garryswfcowl72
I think the club should name the kop after Big jack his contribution should never be forgotten he basically saved us & put us on the road to recovery if mr chansiri wants to do something to bring the club & fans together this would be a brilliant gesture & a fitting tribute to Jacks legacy at the club Edited July 12, 2020 by Guest

The Wall
Bit before my time, so I'll leave it to others to comment on his role at the club. I will say though that I don't think I've ever heard a bad word said about Jack from a Wednesday fan, which is pretty unique
Popular Post areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Shouldn't we check whether Jessica Ennis-Hill has ever been within 5 miles of our stadium before we commit to anything here? 3

marshy
That seriously worth contacting the club over.

PortlandOwl
I can't think of many with Wednesday connections worthy of having a stand named after them. No doubt that Big Jack is. Great idea.
Popular Post Dizzys Dad
Popular and deserving he might be, but to everyone except Wednesdayites he will always be associated with the World Cup and LEEDS. Not for me thanks. 16

adelphi1867
Without doubt the best manager we have had since Harry Catterick. He took over the club when it really was a basket case, he and Bert Mcgee turned the club around with out spending a fortune on players, bit like Wilder at the sty today, they have always followed us, and laid down the foundation's for the future success to follow him. All that and a working class hero, never forgot his roots.

Maybe outside Sheffield he will be associated mainly with Weeds but we're doing it for our own supporters and his family. Nearly 6years at our club with alot of fond memories for us and the Charltons.
Guest Jack the Hat
I think this is a great idea. He had 6 MASSIVE years here, turned the club around and left on his own terms. Oh and he taught me how to head a ball.

Dizzys Dad
If we were going to name a stand after anyone, it should be Eric Taylor. He gave his life to Wednesday and achieved so much. Jack contributed certainly, but only for 6 years. 3
