Despite his perceived struggles at first, I said he will always score more than Harris, probably 10 a season at least.

Sometimes hes frustrating, but will score and create.

This. Even if he has a quiet game he's more likely to score or create than Harris. Both have 3 assists but Harris has played 50% more minutes and Murphy has 7 goals to Harris's 3

Post Christmas he’s been one of few players to stand up and be counted. Would be delighted if for the right price he was to come and sign.

Starting to show why Newcastle paid top dollar for him

Contract up at end of season for them so could get him for a minimal fee

9 goals and 6 assists in his last season in the Championship with Norwich

I think that this new system that we are playing now is much more suited to his game, it certainly allows him more space to get in behind.

Did well today took the goal really well, he made his pace pay and took advantage of the high line and space that QPR gave him when he came on.

If I remember correctly before the lockdown  @Lord Snooty was suggesting giving him a try up front along Fletcher, might have been a good call that.

He's contracted to 2021.

Took a while to settle, but he’s shining now

Was thinking earlier, since a few of the squad have gone (for one reason or another) Murphy seems to be playing a lot better.

He’s been great for months and months.

A cut above and probably the only rival for POTS that Iorfa has

I think Fletcher has been the player of the season by a distance, the fact he isn’t here anymore is irrelevant.

he didn't cost millions once for no reason, play him regularly & he'll assist & score, Da Cruz too once he gets a goal hopefully

Would love him to be here next season, loan or permanent I think it could be an important signing. He’s been our biggest attacking threat second half of the season.

If we stop up I'd say there's a good chance of signing him. I'd sign his twin bro too!

Everyone needs time to settle in. He was in poor form at Newcastle and has taken time to adapt, he is playing very well at present. Lets hope he comes back next season

Just felt that we have been so long without anyone who's willing, or has the drive to get in behind he was worth a gamble.

Oddly enough Windass and Da Cruz showed a similar willingness to get in behind today. Certainly gives us different options.

Perfect for when we're on  the road.

Barely played from mid-December onwards and then stuck two fingers up and left at the earliest opportunity

Not for me.

Fletcher is no where near the player of the season. A bunch of hype for an injury prone player. Honestly not bothered that he is gone.

POS Iorfa without doubt.

Bruce do us a favour for letting you watch the cricket on holiday before you left us up the Swanny and give us Murphy for free, you fat knob.

A wide man who has an end product finally - sign him up.

I think he's going to be stuck. Too good for the champ, not quite there for the prem.

have no idea what our fantasy managers are up to
