Foxinthebox
First Wednesday scarf I had as a kid had ‘Charlton’s Owls Are Magic’ on it. Wish I still had it!

ZicoSterland2
Sad day with the big mans passing.A true legend as he was the man who turned this club around and put the pride back into shirt by using lads who came through the youth team mixed with some experienced older players. RIP Big Jack you will be sorely missed. 3
4evaowl
Remember dancing around the room with my dad when it was on the news that he’d been appointed our manager. Dog was barking like a banshee. Mum thought we’d gone mad. A true great in every respect. Rest in peace. 2

Frazzlebeak
Made a huge impact at this club when he arrived. It was the first time I realised how great we could be after watching years of dross. Oh to have him back now. RIP Big man and thank you for the memories.

Westfield Owl
Charlton rebuilt the club and brought us back from the wilderness when SWFC were at our (then) lowest ebb. He was a brilliant manager for us, just as he was for Ireland too. Also, won a little competition called the World Cup in his playing days. Not a bad legacy.

M Royds
What a guy. Not so much the shirt he’s wearing but the type of break from training Jack partook in. 2
