Still doesn't change the fact that Monk isn't good enough

IF you think only Monk is the problem, then you obviously cannot see the issues that are dragging the club down.

Maybe should have used some common sense and not released a load of squad players that you were incapable of man managing.

Bored of his excuses now

Don't think it was Monk he let them go do you?

At the end of the day, we need them in the squad.

We've got sod all to 'rotate'.

He Fletcher ditched us or is he still under treatment?

i hope we aint giving him treatment he has spent months on treatment table while here on massive wages , he came off after 5 mins he weren`t risking a 2 year deal elsewhere instead of helping us out and earning his wage. a lot of players who have left maybe in for a big shock ,nobody is paying them upto 35k a week.

Lucky to get 35K a month to be fair...

Bigger benefit means for the sake of the vast majority in making the club a much happier ace. You can't have disruptive people around spoiling it for the rest.

Saying he was unable to suitably manage certain characters is one way of looking at it, getting rid of trouble causers is another, and in my opinion the right way to look at it. We are and will continue to be better off as a result.

Bruce and Bullen managed those players as did CC, only Jos & Monk couldn't, what's the common denominator there?

In fairness, Fletcher, Forestieri and Fox also left.

Which on the one hand is a blow as those players might have helped us to avoid relegation.

On the other hand, the club has enabled those players to run down their contracts and leave for nothing.

Whereas a better ran and more progressive club would have moved those players on 18 months ago and reinvested the profits into brining in younger, hungrier replacements.

Fletch and Fox - Nothing to do with Monk! He wanted them to stay.

Fessi is a diick.

Monk getting blamed for out of contract players is a bit daft innit!

Thanks for pointing out that the common denominator here is the troublesome players!

CC couldn't manage them, he just let them get on with it. It was very telling when Hutchinson said recently that CC was the only one who knew how he should train. In other words, he let them train when they felt like it. Very poor and unsustainable management for which we suffered a long time, and still are.

Bruce wasn't here long enough to fall out with them, it's that simple.

Bullen is part of the problem, too nice and not good enough.

For anyone who doubts that there's the increased potential of injury in the current circumstances...

Its still odd how players these days benefit from modern sports science, masseurs, nutrition etc. yet back in the 80s most of the squad played nearly 50 games a season, didn't get rested for cup games, almost always played for the full 90 minutes (only 1 sub in those days), on awful muddy pitches and in Wilkinson's high tempo all action style - but rarely got injured and still achieved results.

Have you looked back at matches played back then in recent times?

It's like watching pub teams waddling about

lol

Things have changed massively

It's a totally different world these days

"players on the brink"

They ought to have been at our house last night when Prestons 3rd went in

On the f.ookin' brink?....Wednesday fans have been tiptoein' along the brink for 20 years...topplin' off.

Only fanbase in the country that say

"F.ook ...scored too early"... when we get one in the 89th sodding minute

Its like being hit over the head every week...season tickets paid for..dunno who we are playing, which sodding league we are in..IF we ARE in a league.

Awaiting court verdicts....Football fans FFS!

If we do go down to league 1...at least we will have 20 away fans singin' "You're not famous anymore"...To bloody remind us of times past....

Our "Shed as big as this" no longer belongs to us.....

None of it our fault....apart from Rhodes..who we apparently bought on a f.ookin' whim...what were we thinkin'?

although I would like to thank Mr Chansiri for giving us £10 mill.....I wanted an Audi..but beggars can't be f.ookin' choosers

On it rolls, accompanied by bloody circus music and canned sodding laughter..Our ground  rented out to us every Saturday and no longer feeling like home.

The Chairman says nowt...The EFL say nowt..Our Lawyer bakes cherry pies and tweets pics of Typewriters...as we search for clues amongst the tat.

What a sad state......

Which is why I specifically referred to the Wilko era, high octane football, constant pressing, and 14 mile cross country runs just to warm up for the morning's training!

Some of our current players wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes back then.
