The Odubajo Effect

Maybe the Manager needs to ' manage ' those 'sitting back with injuries ' and maybe coach those who are currently not good enough to become better performers ? - thought that came with the job .

Yeah, Monk will also bring the cones, pump the balls up, make sure the water bottles are full and check the kit is washed.

Most clubs have a coaching team rather than a bunch of misfits who have stayed too long.

There isn't a club in the FL where it falls to the responsibility of one man.

But expectations eh....

It also comes with the job of being any professional to forever improve your craft and be better at what you do.

If a player fakes an injury that is not the fault of the manager.  Likewise, if two players fall over each other, or both fail to approach the ball to allow the opposition through, or a player misses a sitter, or a goalie lets in a soft goal or whatever, that's the fault of the players, not the manager.

We've been mugged by quite a few players now, and all we can do is blame the manager.  Monk may be useless or he may not, but it's time professional footballers started acting and performing like professionals.

Moses needs to start right wing back with Murphy pushed up front

Back 3 of Borner, Iorfa and Palmer or Lees

Anyone who thought he was a left sided centre back must be deluded but, he was asked to play there and did. He didn't throw the toys out of the pram and not train or get an injury pre-match like some other freeloaders on the wage bill have. He played right wing back in that Hull side that beat us at Wembley that should give anyone a clue

I feel for the lad. He's trying, but having a car-crash of a season. Becoming an unlucky charm for us. Bad things seem to happen when he's on the pitch - but he's not the only one that applies to.

No confidence in him. He was told he could go in January, he looks nervous every time he steps on the pitch.

I genuinely think there is something there with Odubajo. Can see he really needs someone to have confidence in him, clearly tell why Steve Bruce got them best out of him.

I admire his willingness to play anywhere for the team, but last night he looked broken.

Shame he was a talent but has been ravaged by injuries and it has to have a long term impact , and as others have said he’s a freebie from another champ team and he’s not played a huge amount of games, he’s hardly going to be the new Roland is he.

is this a "it's not his fault, he's only the manager" post?

Who at the club has faked an injury?

Moses was given a one-year deal at Brentford and then released. Why did we give him a two-year deal? It was fairly evident after a few matches that he was unreliable as a defender and had a mistake in him, albeit not to the extent that he has demonstrated.
