Wickham and Lee

Recommended Posts

Missing due to fatigue.

‘We missed Connor and Kieran purely due to fatigue. They felt tightness and when that happens then you’re risking injury aren’t you?’

Read that and tell me Monk wasn’t hanging Tom Lees our to dry with his ‘nothing clinically wrong’ comments.

Lee and Wickham would run till they broke down for this club

Tom Lees cried off and sounds like made up some injury

Another one who deserves to be f*cked off

“We’re going to ask Connor to play a lot of football”

“Connor is tired”

——

”The young players are way off the level at the moment”

”Young lads, get ready. You’re on the bench. I believe in you”

——

“Alex Hunt is the future, he’s going to have a big role to play”

“Alex, I’ve decided to choose Joey over you”

——

“I’ve got rid of the bad eggs, I know what makes a winning changing room”

”Alessio, if they cross is rubbish. Give em the ******** gesture”

Yeah gut feel is Lees has bottled it, confidence shot so doesn't want to know. The true qualities of a club captain.. 🤔

.....unfortunately, two of the players (along with Murphy,) who in their different ways are most able to put the opposition on the back foot.

Their absence turns us from a team who have a decent chance of winning in to one that has little chance of winning.

Can’t understand why we play Pelupessy instead of Hunt. Everytime he gets the ball its just the same backwards/horizontal play and zero creativity. Whos decision was it to sign him...

...or he gifts it to the opposition in a dangerous area. He did it twice tonight

the first time he managed to recover and put in a good block, the second time the PNE player messed up

Our threadbare squad is on its knees. Wickham and Lee out tonight, Harris and Murphy next I suspect after going off tonight.

I'd wager Bannan and Luongo not far behind and Palmer took some knocks tonight which will take its toll.

Iorfa also looked mentally fatigued (some bad decisions tonight), without him we are royally fizzed as we rely on his pace. We're already playing with essentially no strike force.
