It was also a madhouse when he took over, he did a very good job there.

After Hockaday and Heckingbottom you mean?

Monk came to Leeds fresh from his promising start with Swansea but got found out in the end.

Not really, they weren’t expected to do anything at the start of the season with the squad he had, he over achieved

they walked out against Preston

On 78 mins if you listened carefully enough you could hear them groaning......

On 87 minutes some could be seen trying to fold themselves up. Others were trying to inflict paper cuts on themselves in an apparent bid to self harm.....

On 90+6 the few remaining were holding protest banners!!!

After the game the club received a cease and desist letter from the Confederation of Paper Industries on behalf of the cutouts.........Shambles indeed!!! FFS

Please tell your Leeds pal to take him back and we will have Bielsa and see how he squeals.

Monk faded badly at Leeds.

Monks 25 wins,& 11 draws(17 loss) from his time there, made him their best Manager in the last decade, before the current incumbent Bielsa...And would the Leeds Boss really do better than Monk without his own coaching team, and with our current players?..https://www.managerstats.co.uk/clubs/leeds-united/

Why did they get shut then if he was that good?

Yes, complete shambles.

We get rid of Monk's bad apples and things get even worse.

Maybe the bad apples could play a bit.

At any other club Monk would have been fired by now.

Monk was fired by Swansea, fired by Boro and fired by Brum.

Managers do generally leave clubs by being fired. :duntmatter:

Think he fell out with the chairman.

Anyway, he did a half decent job at Leeds, as he did at Birmingham...but that doesn't take away from the fact that he's doing a f00king awful job here, albeit there are mitigating circumstances contributing to that.

As the OP rightly points out: the whole thing is a shambles from top to bottom.

As the thread starter rightly said the club is a shambles from top to bottom.

An owner that doesn't know a thing about running football clubs.

A set of advisers that couldn't run a pi$$-up in a brewery.

A manager who is just into football management to do the merry-go-round trick picking up hundreds of thousands a year for achieving absolutely nothing at every club he has been in charge of.

A coaching team in over their heads and useless.

A set of players who are total bottlers.

A club in deep trouble for cheating the rules.

And a stadium 25 years behind most other clubs.

If we had picked Warnock to be our manager when Carlos left we would have been playing our football in the Premier League now but instead the owner listened to a few hundred idiot Wednesdayites saying they didn't want him because he managed United 70 years back.

All wrong the lot of them.

How many players and managers have United had from Wednedsay?, it never bothered them, and it shouldn't have bothered us.

But instead some bright spark advising Mr Chansiri told him to go and get that winner and big name Jos feckin Luhukay!!!.

If we gets points deducted I think that's it we're down.

If we don't get points deducted I think if we don't go down it'll only be because all the other teams around the bottom are even crapper than us.

It'll serve the club right if at the next home match all the cardboard cutouts do a demonstration on the pitch at halftime to air their displeasure at what's going on there.
