Wingers get it and slow down, take too long to put cross in and everyone is stood still making it easy to defend. Iorfa is having one of his bad days and with Pelupessy on the pitch we can’t get enough of the ball out to Murphy. Harris has done his usual thing of getting the space and then wasting it. Luongo largely anonymous again. Bannan delivery much better than the last game at least. Would bring off Pelupessy for Windass, if not fit enough would bring Hunt on - we need more expansive play to get Murphy the ball. striker Posted July 8, 2020 Share Posted July 8, 2020 Obviously didn't look like scoring, devoid of anything whatsoever up front, but been the better team again. Played some nice passing football at times, Noticable that all 3 CB's have been willing to get forward with the ball. Left some gaps at the back at times, but this system still work in progress. Also, much maligned, but Pelupessy had a decent half. Made some good interceptions, one very good block in our box and kept it simple. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
