League Table Since Christmas

More confidence than me

It is extremely unlikely that a club would be relegated with 52 or more points.

It would have to be an exceptional season and there's enough dross around the bottom four to confidently say it won't happen.

3rd on Christmas Day. 1 point in front of Fulham, 2 ahead of Brentford. Just check the gap between us and Luton!

So who is to blame? It cant be the ‘wrong’uns’ because they’ve hardly featured since that day.

That makes me feel sick. End the f***ing season already!

3 wins in 18 is a disgrace. These players are selling us well short.

Of course it’s the wrong uns.

Do you actually believe we went from churning out results and grinding out wins to absolute nothing?

It’s a massive bomb down the table - the ones who have gone have been a poison from within and I bet there contract talks and everything else coincided around New Year when they were told they wouldn’t be getting a new one or playing again.

Low and behold - performances tank, upset within the camp reported etc. Monk has alluded to it all since then - how poisonous some players are and that he has to make difficult decisions, problem is - he has to keep us in this league, there is way too much player power at the minute.

You could see from the first 2 games back the change in our performances and play - compare that to the Blackburn and Derby games we rolled over in, at least we’ve controlled the games we’ve played in for a fair amount of time - we just don’t have the personnel to put games to bed, that’s it.

Monk isn’t to blame - blame the players, we’ve got rid of most of them thank god and I hope to god we get to the end of this season and stay up to clear the decks some more. Bring on next season - get some players who want to play for this club and the fans, because those lot who have finally f*cked off didn’t want to play for Monk, caused trouble from within and most importantly - tried their best to make this club unsuccessful in results and that ultimately penalises us - the fans. F*ck them.

Depends how many more Monk can fall out with next season, we may need to sign a lot of players

Is it really Monk falling out?

Why did Jos fallout with the exact same players then?

It’s blindly obvious mate - the players calling the shots within the holiday camp have been given the flick and they’ve caused a rustle and we’ve crumbled with internal affairs going off

Thank god they are gone.

Terrible stats since Christmas. In any normal time, Monk would have been sacked, but COVID's saved him. With no infrastructure, a point deduction hearing decision pending and an owner who's AWOL, he's safe until August. A points deduction of 9 or more could seriously relegate us.

Aye, a manager I said wanted to come to England, and was laughed out of town .

Still. We had our Wembley trip.

What you mentioned Bielsa before he went to Leeds?

I really do think the team finishing 22nd will be relegated with 50-54 points this season. Weren't Peterborough relegated with 56 points not so long ago?

Funny that those disruptive players were consistently performing up to Christmas. And then they were dropped. Hutch for the inept pelepussy, which has meant we’ve been playing with ten men since Christmas. Good managers manage difficult players ( if indeed that’s what they are). Bad managers get rid. Look at dicanio under Wilson and rednapp.

Would get Struber from Barnsley. Coached his way through the Red Bull Salzburg system, got them the Youth League title and got his first proper side into the UEL.

He has dross to work with at Barnsley so hard to judge him on that so far but think he could build a new youth based side with energy here.

We've said that before and been relegated.
