The only reason this ridiculous Monk is still there is because the owner gave up some time ago.

Are his substitutions deliberately designed to make us worse or is he just stupid?

One of the substitutes was a result of an injury and another scored for crying out loud.

Murphy did crap. He had 3 chances to score. 2 of them would have scored if he shot on goal not blasting them over.

Why I only put ok. Had he scored he probably would have been man of the match. He was our main danger in the first half and did ok in the second.

Nuhiu is our super sub, even Monk can not screw that one up.

Monk needs relieving of his duties as soon as possible, but doubtless still be there leading (misleading) us in Third division next season.

The degree to which some people have to belittle, excuse, mitigate or extinguish, by any means necessary, even the slightest positive is like trying to reason with a toddler in the midst of a full-on tantrum. Your original post was nonsense, and now you've upped the goalposts and no doubt will continue to do so as often as necessary. The conclusion is arrived at first and the 'evidence' is battered, bent and discarded as required.

Was Lee injured? Thought he was our best midfielder in the first half.

Since beating Leeds (including today) it's played 16, won 3, drawn 4, lost 9. Scored 12, conceded 32.

That is not good enough and at the end of the day, the buck stops with the manager. That is why people are blaming Monk. Mistakes costing goals are coming from Monk continually playing people out of position or asking them to play in a way that doesn't suit them.

Personally, I want him gone.

Evidence of how good or not, Monk is, was supplied by this poster. Won 3 in 16!

A tantrum can sometimes be the right response:  in this case to an absent owner, and this coach !

Just to save anyone reading the full thread this is what has been posted.

Kick off...owltalker's "solid line up Monk's ok"

1st half Wednesdays on top...owlstalker's "lets give Monk time"

We miss a sitter...owlstalker's "Monk out"

Half time...owlstalker's "get Hunt on Munk"

2nd half Swans score...owlstalker's "wtf is Hunt on for? Monk out"

Rest of 2nd half...owlstalker's "mump moan whinge Munk out"

Extra time Dave score's...owlstalker's "he's crap get rid"

Game over...owlstalker's "all Munk's fault. Monk out, teams crap get rid of them all".

So 6 game's to go Monks gone players gone, under 15's play rest of games and we go down...owlstalkers " wouldn't have happened under Monk, D.C out".

Jeez guys get a grip.

I just think it's time to reset and start again.

By selling one of our only genuine quality players? All those years we had to put up with poo central midfielders and then we want to bin off a quality passer of the ball who never hides and covers every blade of grass???

Just my opinion. Think we rely on him too much. Though that probably says more about his teammates than him. Imagine him next to say Carlton Palmer, what a pair those two would have been

If we could get a decent price for him then reinvest it for the team as a whole

You wouldn’t get a price that reflects his talent because of his age. Keep Bannan and upgrade his team mates

I’d hope any reset process wouldn’t not want his quality in the side - most championship clubs do. The necessary rebuilding doesn’t need to mean bin everything and everyone

Agree but seems we are skint / unable to spend without selling
