Guest wilyfox
Someone with leadership skills who is not yet here. No-one in our squad is captain material.
StudentOwl
Julian Börner is one of only three natural leaders I've really clocked playing for Wednesday in my short time watching us (Loovens and Hutchinson being the other two). Smiley determined bloke that's built like a brick shithouse... would be mad not to utilise him as a captain.
The Chief
If Bannan was captain he would probably start taking goal kicks as well as everything else
109Waddle
Bannan or Iorfa out of the current players.

For me it has to be Bannan. What sort of return? If I'm parting with my hard earned it needs to be a sound investment.

cbirks
Bannan is the stand out choice except that he isn't actually a very good captain. Borner is natural choice for me. I'd like to say Iorfa but I'm just not sure, think he'd be like Tommy Lees when he was captain, a stable performer personally but not able to bring up the performance of others.
flo
Iorfa, Luongo or Lee
OriginalAlien
Gary Cahill after he demands a move to his beloved Owls and agrees to play for a nominal wage with a bonus for when we get promotion to the EPL. or Loungo maybe? Iorfa still needs to focus on developing his own game rather than taking on additional responsibility.
WalthamOwl
Iorfa or Luongo of the current players. Failing that perhaps we will sign a new leader. Could do with a few more leaders in the squad.
Emilianenko
People suggesting Bannan really. A captain does not berate his own players for a pass he misplaced.

S63 Owl
Luongo out of current midfield. In terms of who deserves it for loyalty to the club and for being a long servant then Palmer - starts majority of games and can play in various positions. Knows what it means to play for the club too - does he have leadership qualities for it though?
Nero
Iorfa. Right age. Nailed on starter.
PortlandOwl
Big Dave surely.
Rev Owl
Bannan thinks he's captain already. Make him captain then hold him to account for his behaviour towards other players.
Ruston83
Not Bannan for me think it would go to his head , definitely Borner he has the passion and fire in his belly everytime he is on the pitch.
DSandersonOWL
Atdhe Nuhiu - obvious choice - as always he is head & shoulders above the rest, certainly dwarfs the wee Bannan for this post
