Popular Post @owlstalk
Lots of talk of Da Cruz playing instead of Rhodes tonight. I think this could be the wrong move to make right now. It would come on the back of 2 decent appearances from Jordan as he looks to build up his confidence. I'd stick with him, go again, and hopefully get on the scoresheet (he's come close in both the last two games) Whilst freshening things up with the likes of Da Cruz is concerned I agree it might do, but it could also permanently put paid to Rhodes confidence at our club just at a time when it seems to be finally soaring again. Stick with him Garry. 20 Owlstalk Shop
Blue and white
4 points from 2 very tough games means we can't change the starting 11, to do so would be stupid.
Wednesday_Jack
Why would we want to change it? We’ve looked half decent in every department to be fair.
Popular Post William 1867
Rhodes needs to start again. Yes no goals yet, but he is getting into positions that will lead to goals and he is starting to get better service balls in the box as well. Keep going Jordan. 9
kernowl
I’ve noticed (like Trevor Francis before him) that he very cleverly ‘wins’ a lot of free kicks by appearing to be pushed over by opposition players. 1

Holmowl
Plus, Da Cruz seems to play very wide. We already have two line-hugging wing-backs providing us with great shape. We don’t want Da Cruz also taking up those positions, thereby leaving Wickham totally isolated.
HIGHERSTATE
He's a frustrating player but yeah I'd start with him. We've looked solid in the first half of the last two matches.
Suzuki_San
He's been unlucky in both games, hitting the post, working the keeper...could have easily had 2 as well as Wickham. Would love him to score tonight. Also, with Wickham getting 2, they will mark him hard later, possibly leaving Rhodes a bit of space... 1
109Waddle
Got to stick with Rhodes and Wickham, why change it. Still not convinced by da Cruz.
TrickyTrev
He’s played well since the break and I like the look of his partnership with Wickham. I’d let these 2 have a run of games together.

prowl
It would be great if Rhodes could score, do his confidence a power of good. I'd stick with him if he's fit enough. He's been a bit unlucky so far but he's made some nice space in the box with little runs but defenders have got blocks in. If he carries on like the lst 2 games it will come good sooner or later. I would stick with the same team if we can but I do wonder if the players might need to be rotated with games coming thick and fast.

yeadonowl
when playing 2 up top it's all about a partnership. you don't break it up after 2 games because 1 of them hasn't scored if fit, they need to be first names on the team sheet till the end of the season. Monk has got it right so far by giving Da Cruz the last half hour against the tiring defence

TodwickOwl
We’ve got games every 3 days We need to rotate at some point or we’ll struggle down the line if we get injuries
