I think most on here had it pegged by about September. Good result and performance today, but make no mistake...this guy has played a huge role in ruining our season Any manager dealing with all the egos and EFL disruption would suffer. The dressing room has been toxic and that is not Monks doing.
Wednesday_Jack
Monk deserves time...and given time and a couple of transfer windows I am sure he will make us really competitive in this league.

Should see the ones on Twitter today As the match went on they were slating every player Hopefully we shift SkyBet Man of the Match Barry Bannan in the summer. Would rather get a bit of money for the useless waste of space than put up with his poo corners and freekicks for another year #swfc — Elliott Green (@elliott1301) June 28, 2020 4 Owlstalk Shop

Have a look in this thread It's clear some supporters want us relegated just so they can say 'told you so' about Monk Since the Covid19 break: Dressing room clearout 4 points from the last 6 2 games unbeaten Every player playing with full commitment to the shirt Much improved performance 9 Owlstalk Shop

Too big a squad, too many players for the same position, too many fall outs, too many ego’s, too many decisions for the manager. Sometimes it’s ok for the squad but more importantly the starting 11 to pick themselves date to reduced numbers.
beswetherick
So far so good since the restart. I’ve slagged him off loads but I’ll be happy to eat humble pie if that means Wednesday are successful. He deserves credit for the way the team have played the last two games — just like he deserved criticism for the way they played between Xmas and March. Encouraging signs today, long may they continue 6

Harassed their players, got a foot in and kept it simple. He did put it back into play on the edge of our box when he should have cleared it late on to be fair... but other than that he wasn’t bad if unspectacular. S1Owl
maybe some of the senior players were causing a stink & unsettled the team, now they've gone maybe there's more unity in the squad & everyone is pushing in the same direction. Hope so anyways 4

Even today he brings on two of our most calamitous players when we needed calmness. Popular Post asteener1867
maybe there is a bit of clarity coming through now some players have shown they hardly give a flyer for the shirt. Theres a positive about having your options cut down, you play a certain system, you stick to a certain system. Westwood could have done no better than Wildsmith did today, Lee and luongu show we don't really miss Hutch as much, and Wickham steps up for Fletcher. Forestieri can now be designated to the dustbin of dubious merit...and we can just f.ookin' get on with the job in hand. Nuhiu once again wears the subs shirt, comes on and does his job. We are not a "Great" side....but we know that, the players know that and no doubt Monk does...but whilever Wednesday players pull on the shirts and give it everything without bloody mumping....We will survive this dogs breakfast of a season and start afresh next. 16
