*Tin hat firmly on* If we were to continue with the 352/532 long term then Freeman actually wouldn't be a bad option. I don't advocate signing players from rivals and I get why people wouldn't want to sign him but looking at Freeman's time at United he was pretty key for the first 18 months or so of Wilder.

He looked decent, but doesn’t seem to play many games so presumably a crock

Who would you take if any? I’d definitely take Kieron Freeman. 28 years old, experienced, settled in Sheffield and still on his league 1 wages. Would be a great signing 👍

Middlesbrough have been forced to release a huge amount of players.

Rudy Gestede.

Adam Clayton.

Ryan Shotton.

Marvin Johnson.

George Friend.

Johnny Howson.

Daniel Ayala.

Now considering Monk used to manage Boro.

Would he look at any of these?

No for me, either past it or not as good as what we’ve got

George friend to replace fox, Gestede is awesome if we could get him firing again and I could see adam clayton fitting into our midfield 3.

Monk hopefully looking at the trio

Quite a few of our ex players seem to have done alright for them in recent years, Quinn, Geary et al.

Can list quite a few former Wednesday players who have turned out for them.... can only think of JP McGovern to cross the divide the other way.

He didn't "cross the city" he was on loan at the darkside then went back to Celtic then when his contract ran out he left them for Livingston. I believe I am correct when I state that we have NEVER taken a player direct from our rivals. Although they have taken plenty from us.

Daniel Ayala's been one of the best defenders in the Championship for many a year. Not sure what kind of wages he's on, but worth a conversation.

Regarding the list of United players. Anyone signing Rodwell must need their head examining.
