Pressman 1
So are these pair going to be the strike force for the rest of the season, Rhodes couldn't get a game before and Wickham hardly played, hopefully they build up a good relationship and start firing, need the service though so I'd probably start reach but only on the left, if all else fails we have big atty as back up

theowlsman
Dream team. Always rated both of them. If Rhodes is switched on, and Wickham gets his fitness sorted, they’ll do ok.
matthefish2002
Both have reputations much bigger then they achievements over the last 2-3 years.
Lord Tight Arse
I have always liked Rhodes and would love to see him achieve great things here.. With certain players leaving imminently, who some say may/could of been bad apples, this could be what Rhodes needs.
Carbone
'Rhodes and Wickham'. Would have been a dream team of a strike force six years ago at this level 6

That ship has sailed I'm afraid mate Rhodes hasn't performed well at this level for 5/6 years now, you never see strikers recover from that I just wish he'd have gone on loan to a League One team last season to see if he could recover his form there, but he opted for Norwich's bench instead

Guest HillsboroughOwlNI
I have a slight inkling this partnership might just surprise us. In a positive way.

WalthamOwl
Hope they start up front together in every game. Have a horrible feeling he will start Nuhiu on Sunday though.
Guest Grez Bez
Rhodes will come good if paired with Wickham. I can feel it in my bones
Clowne Owl
If 10 years ago someone said that one day our strike partnership would be Rhodes and Wickham we would have been in Dreamland
Themagiccap
Wickham is potentially the type of striker that does usually get the best out of Rhodes. We've nothing to lose playing them for next 8 games and seeing if it clicks.

But equally if he scores 5 or more by the end of the season then you can only see him as the number 1 striker. Unfortunately Wickams injury record suggests he can’t be consistent and will not manage to make enough appearances during a season.
