owls maniac
Unbelievable Tbf that is a stunningly bold move by Gibson and you would expect Colin to give them a bounce for these last few games. ******** myself if they still went down. Putney
Their run in is relatively easy so you'd fancy Warnock to see them through. A very solid appointment. Think he needs to last into next season to get to 1,500 games in management or some other milestone.
owls maniac
Oh poo. Just realised they are our last game of the season. He is so gonna relegate us. Just to round off a horrible season.
Jim
Funny that they had Pulis, the fans were going ape sh!t. The best and most conscientious chairman in the world and the upholder of fair play and decency goes for a bright new future under a highly rated young coach with bright young players then finds himself having to end up appointing Warnock. They’ll probably stay up now but if Warnock stays for next season, how long before he gets the Pulis treatment from the fans?

Good things like that simply don't happen to Sheffield Wednesday supporters
ReadingOwl
Surprised at this this. I genuinely thought he’d retire. It can’t be for the money. Its a long way from Plymouth to Middlesborough. He’s had more comebacks than Frank Sinatra. The bloke just can’t let it go.
Steve Down South
It will be interesting to see if he’s still got it. I thought his powers were on the wane at Cardiff, but I wouldn’t write him off just yet.

Junglejay
Good appointment to the end of the season and you'd think will keep Boro safe. That said, because I'm a pedantic terwat, I'd sack him after his 1499th league game

We all know Warnock loves attention and the prospect of turning around a clubs fortunes. Plus I imagine with getting sacked at Cardiff he’s desperate for his career not to end on a sore note. I think he’s great. A proper old school pantomime villain who are very much a dying breed in a sport where money has made it so serious.
