DobbinTheDonkey
Charlton's problem now will be why prove you have the funds for a takeover. Before it was for a Championship club, now they're a League 1 outfit. Already they will be millions down on TV money alone

catdog1121
This is getting ridiculous a total change needs to happen as we cant end every season with the results of the league decided by the court room. A radical change should be made, scrap P&S and replace it with something else. My suggestion would be have a fund that all clubs pay into based on their income (say 5% of their income, easily done as just take it off what EFL gives the clubs) this then goes into a pot so if a club go into trouble the EFL step in, sell any assets and try to find a buyer for the club. There could be a mandatory clause in all player contracts that if the EFL take over the club then their contracts can be cancelled so the EFL can get a clubs spending very quickly under control. A club should not be allowed to be more than X amount in debt. Any owner that has the club taken over by the EFL will be banned from owning or running any football club for life. Obviously it would need a bit more meat but you get the idea, something radically different. This whole points deduction is a complete joke especially in our case where we have a rich owner so our spending is sustainable.
Shetland Owl
So we move onto another week. This committee needs investigating , wages need deducting and individuals made accountable. The situation is a complete joke

Just stop the entire circus, bin it all off and start again. We may as well watch Jeff and the boys on a Saturday report on who's winning in hearings and court rooms. UNBELIEVEABLE JEFF!! The lady from the independent panel was about to give Derby a 21 point deduction when in storms a breathless Wayne Rooney with evidence that he's playing for free and is drawing no wages! All sqaure and we go into extra time!

Bournemouth and co come down with a £45 M failure payment...THAT should be the starting figure for any FFP limit per season for the rest of the clubs in the Championship 21

In a few years..We will have opposing fans in two docks in a courtroom cheering lawyers who kiss the badge of the respective teams they are defending, every time they have an "Objection" is sustained!
