Brad_owl
If someone said, you can start in League 2 with a clean slate and with a motivated but careful pair of hands as owner, would we take it? I mean the fact im even having to think about that question says where we are as a club. Chansiri has tried but he just doesn't have the know how. If he said, you know what, im struggling, i need some help and brings onboard a couple of experienced operators to oversee the club then the sky could be the limit for us. We thought his money was the answer, unfortunately we didn't count on his stubborness and ignorance as a factor. I hope he has his duck in a row with this court case, i really do! The 3rd paragraph makes sense and I agree DC needs a helping hand with taking the club to where we all want to be. All this start in L2 and non league stuff is frigging cringeworthy and we need to get over ourselves a bit

Can you tell me one player who our fans have got on the back off who has gone on to be decent elsewhere? I'll start us off with Chris Brunt and Antonio. Could be a pretty long list this. Suppose it depends if we include players who went on to do well for us as well, like Kieran Lee, Lewis Buxton and Morgan Fox.

Brunt and Antonio were popular players at Wednesday and when did anyone get on at Kieran Lee? Strange list that

I’ve been watching us since 1989 and I’ve known nothing but failure aside from a year or two of Francis (which i have fleeting memories of) and a year and a half of Carvahal. I’ve been to games in the Prem, Championship, League 1, Away FA cup games at Southport and Scunthorpe, you name it I’ve been there. All I want is a club that’s run properly by someone who knows what the hell they're doing, and funnily enough I’ve never seen that. Shame on me for petulantly wanting my club to be in good standing. My plan? Scorched earth. Go back to square one, be it Championship, League One, Conference, Boston North, whatever league it may be. Start this whole operation again and maybe we’ll have a club which isn’t a laughing stock. If Chansiri wants to be the man at the helm, fine by me, but i don’t trust him. I’ve stood by the players where most of the posters on here have ‘bleated’ as nauseum about how crap they are and how they aren’t fit to wear the shirt, etc. I have criticism of their performances, but they haven’t always been bad, in fact for most of the season they’ve been adequate enough to have us in and around the playoffs. What’s caused us to slide off? Up to you lot to work out, since you all seem to know best. I like to think I’m a reasonable man, but you can get bent for that comment Nev. you might have many more years on me as a Wednesdayite, but it doesn’t make you any more or less a Wednesdayite. Thats a plan?

Strange list that Lee got grief early on. Antonio got plenty of stick for the tired old 'no end product' clichés etc, Brunt got loads, and I mean loads, of grief for being lazy and worse! Wednesday fans have always been pretty quick with their criticism. Maybe its amplified through social media, but i remember Sheridan getting it back in 1991!

I can say I never got on any of those players backs and Clarke is the only one out of that list I heard get much. Taylor and Morrison were only at the club for a few months. All clubs have it to an extent... I went to a Man U game when there was a ticket going spare and some of their fans were getting on Giggs’ back. I don’t think you can blame the fans for any players that haven’t progressed here
