THE EFL HEARING THREAD

I think you’re right Nev? This smacks of some championship club chairmen dropping their trousers down after the event waving their todgers around in disgust and the only way the EFL could get them to put them away was to charge us with what they have?

Did you get a hard on writing that? Strange man.

Not really.

Just the never ending belief among the usual suspects that anyone, no matter who or where from, anyone, would be better than the present incumbent.

No suggestions, no ideas, and no referring to recent history & the problems we encountered in trying to find a suitable replacement to Milan.

Just a demand to get him out with no idea of what might follow.

This 'head in the clouds' attitude runs through the fan base like a virus.

it’s ridiculous you or others asking people for names of people that might take us over etc. How many names of people that have taken over clubs up and down the land have you actually known before they took over clubs?

No one literally no one would pay anything like DC would want for us in our present state. It's total ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

He's made shed loads of mistakes but right now he's the one pumping the money in to keep the club afloat. Imo now is really not the time to chase him out or even wish him gone.

Makes fascinating reading this thread, everyone that’s posted in knows just how bent and incompetent the footballing governing bodies are, but still you seem to be worried, even if you’ve broken the rules, you’ll not be punished with anything other than a stern word and a couple of threats, (In public) behind the scenes your owners won’t even get that, they’ll just get an handshake and a wink,  whilst ever you’re still able to contribute to the running of the EFL & HMRC you’ll be absolutely fine. The only time clubs are really punished, is when their money runs out, and they’re no longer able to attach sweeteners AKA backhanders to any correspondence they have with the EFL, so while you’ve still got a few quid you’ll be absolutely fine.

Speaking as one of the "Usual Suspects" who has his "head in the clouds" please answer the following:

1) Given that the money for the stadium sale has only just about got us back on an even keel, do you think that is the end of our financial difficulties?

2) If there is no penalty, how do you think DC will act going forward, will he change his ways or will it be more of the same (in other words yet more trouble further down the line)?

3) If we get a points deduction that relegates us, do you think that DC is the right person to revive our fortunes given his track record to date?

I wish I shared your optimism Barnsley fan. How come Birmingham got the 9 point deduction not so long ago?

Very harsh mate, hook or by crook he wants the very best for us  UTO

Serious question, why do you think we as a club are o.k to break the rules (if we have and it’s looking likely) Regardless of where his heart is.

There’s a reason we are where we are

I think she’s fine, she’s got her mouth full at the minute, but I’ll ask her once she’s done, just to be sure. Thanks for asking.

She said she’d be feeling better if she’d just had a proper mouth full, like what mi brother gives her, but she’s had worse days and I’ve not to worry.

They can't help lying Barnsley fans, its part of their very essence.

They come out in the sun every so often, travel to the big bad city, tongue-tied their utterances are difficult to understand almost Gollumesk.

Their countenance should not be looked upon for long for sickness will prevail, they not from the dark side like their distant united degenerate kinsmen, but one should be wary of them for they search out and revel in misery and once found will do their upmost to drag you down to the depths of the pits of Barnsley.

Keep them at bay, do not give them the time of day.  Pass them by.

Because (as always) some fans believe that criticism of anything the chairman does is akin to a blade running on our pitch and crapping on the centre circle.

understandably, the blokes not been found guilty of anything yet

1) Yes

2) Spend more to get us promoted. Easier now with the financials after Covid.

3) Yes. Who else will pump money in?

You seem to know an awful lot about them, presumably because Rovrum is very similar!

Until it is Addressed  Parachute payments will shove other clubs to risk all , Aston Villa could be in serious trouble ,They broke the rules to get promoted .

Absolutely spot on, parachute payments are the scourge of the earth, the theory behind them is sound enough but the application is totally bent.

Having said that, when you gamble everything and it doesn't come off then you have to get ready for the fall out as we are finding out now.

Lets see, plenty of ridiculous people out there with ridiculous money and no sense. The fact that we are in said above state also speaks volumes. Is it good that he has got us in such a poo state that we are effectively now stuck with him (according to you)
