THE EFL HEARING THREAD

I can’t see us winning the case anyway...Chansiri is inept at everything he does as a football club owner and should stick to selling tins of tuna to Tesco’s

I'm absolutely certain DC hasn't sold tins of tuna to anyone never mind Tesco's.

No one knows (this will be the answer for the remainder of the thread, by the way)

Thanks! Perhaps this should be stickied to the top. 292 pages of nothing wouldn’t be the most productive way to spend an afternoon!

Your prediction that having no fans in the stadium was going to work to our advantage is turning out to be a great call.

Do keep telling us what an awful set of fans we have though and that we should all “acknowledge it”

lol

“Quite possibly” quote. Is more of an observation made in hope than a prediction.

Also playing Forest, West Brom & Preston isn’t really the ultimate proof of your point. Both Forest & especially West Brom are in play off / auto places and seeing as you’re so keen on proving points, check recent history on our meetings with Preston with or without crowds.

Re your whining about fans. Get over it & grow up & stop being so defensive.

We’re a typical average fan base, sometimes better, sometimes worse than your average ‘decent’ sized club. (With a better than average away following).

Don’t know if you’ve watched the Sunderland Netflix series, but the parallels are there for all to see & not all positive.

Can one of the reporters attending have a look through the door and see if any one's in the building because I suspect the case finished Monday and our roving reporters were stood at the wrong entrance. WTF: Mick DeMarco is probably at home making his latest Cherry cake. (using DC recipes. of course)

Does anyone think the delay is because we have come to an arrangement with the EFL. To save either side “losing “ or appealing further, they will dock us as many points as they can without relegating us, but as yet don’t know how many that is.

Both sides can then claim they came out of it as winners.

But we would have to win a couple of games before the final two matches...can you see that happening lol

Hang on, why are you on Owlstalk? :duntmatter:

Torture and self-abuse is my thing. Isn’t that the case for all Wednesday fans, or am I on the wrong site?!

Anybody thought that if we get let off DC will be seen as some sort of genius saviour of Sheffield Wednesday that beat the bad guys. (Especially on social media)

And everything else will again, be swept under the carpet.

there will be quite a few that think that way. Forgetting the crap we are in with FFP etc which is all down to one man.

For the second time in 20 years the future of Sheffield Wednesday could be decided by matters off the pitch.

Sound dramatic? When you consider that a huge amount of revenue is needEd from ticket sales in leagues one and two yet we still don’t know when/if fans will be allowed back in stadiums and how many will be allowed in.

I never thought we’d be in a position of peril like this again after Milan bought us. Chansiri told us our money covered very little. He’ll be begging for it if we end up in L1 and that’s even if the season is allowed to happen.

Praying Nick De Marco has done the business for us.
