Wonder if they’ll do the same deferral as with Wigan if there is a point deduction... deducted next season if in the bottom 3?!

No way the bottom clubs are going to pick up the points to climb up the table that far mind without the deduction so possibly irrelevant

Would relegation be such a disaster. Next year there’ll be two from WBA, Leeds,Brentford, Forest and Fulham alone with possibly Villa, Norwich and one from Brighton, WHU our Bournemouth...all with better squads, more resources and likelihood of top 6 will be slim.

Wouldn’t building a new, cheaper team be easier from the top of league one than the bottom/middle of the championship

Attendences may actually improve if performances and results are positive (more likely in that division)...and it isn’t as if money is lavished on championship clubs as it is (other than the relegated teams)

Yes it would mate, as it always is for any football club. I accept that it would come with an opportunity to completely re-build, but would you really look forward to midweek evenings away at the likes of Accrington Stanley, Blackpool, Bristol Rovers, Gillingham, Luton etc etc. It would be soul destroying.

All that being said, personally I thought that the last league 1 promotion was the most enjoyable part of being a Wednesday fan since we were last in the PL.

Think we're gonna struggle to stay up now even without a points deduction tbh.

Losing Fletcher, Fox etc. are starting to show a little bit.

we are 11 points off 23rd. Wigan will lose 12 points through administration.

If we avoid a points deduction, we are safe.
