I accept that it would come with an opportunity to completely re-build, but would you really look forward to midweek evenings away at the likes of Accrington Stanley, Blackpool, Bristol Rovers, Gillingham, Luton etc etc. It would be soul destroying. All that being said, personally I thought that the last league 1 promotion was the most enjoyable part of being a Wednesday fan since we were last in the PL.
