THE EFL HEARING THREAD

It could be that DC has stated he will appeal if it's found against us so the EFL  are considering a decision that would be accepted now instead of dragging into the new season, especially as there are a lot of clubs on the verge of going out of business which would trigger the clubs looking at the  role of the EFL

Certainly both sides will want this issue concluded as soon as possible, maybe there is point at which both sides agree not to appeal.  Whether there is scope for both parties to negotiate a variance to the Independant Panels decision is another matter.

More likely this. They can't relegate us if we appeal can they ? If we won the appeal and we had been relegated they aren't going to re-promote us.

Are we going to know today,or when?

I think they're all enjoying the biscuits too much to bring the hearing to an end.
An ITK mate said that someone is bringing Tunnock's Teacakes tomorrow.

The EFL have the same input into the decision & punishment as we do. The decision & punishment (if any) will be ruled on by the independent disciplinary panel, following the ruling both us & the EFL can decide to accept the ruling or appeal.

Look at the recent ruling on Birmingham and subsequent appeal by the EFL to see the procedure in action.

Who hears any appeal

The same independent panel?
