One thing I found really strange was the commentators are in the ground...err commentating.....but don't see the replays.

That's what I was thinking when they were saying they hadn't seen any replays of an incident and Rob was saying 'yeah we could have replays if I logged into my IFollow'

lol

iFollow less issues than first season it was introduced but could still be a lot better in this day and age

Especially given what similar streaming services are able to achieve 24/7 - not just for 90 minutes every now and again

They'd be about 4 minutes behind so it would be useless.

I nearly threw the laptop across the garden yesterday.  Safari said I had to uncheck a box that was already unchecked so I thought, OK I'll use Firefox, that was bouncing ball for 10 minutes, downloaded Chrome, same.  It's absolutely ridiculous that you pay for this and it doesn't work.  My IP TV was working fine.  It finally started working after 14 minutes.  It's been the same since day one with problem after problem, even just on the audio offering.

Just not bothered...

Yep you forget that the pics they would see happened a couple of minutes before . But they also had no idea of time gone in the match - JP going from the North Stand clock

Once I got logged on it was fine - better than the red button for sure.

I tried through my phone at first using a dock to play through the TV.

It was absolutely fine until seconds before kick off and then it went off.

Fired up the laptop (using Chrome) and after a few issues with logging in I got it going about 7 mins in. Used Chromecast to send to TV.

Was flawless after that.

I can get the game on IPTV but also pay for  ifollow. Ifollow is generally better quality picture, just. Also you get your team's commentary.

And generally ifollow is reliable 😁

Never usually have a problem listening to the audio but yesterday missed the 1st half. On firefox which I've used all this season and last I got the screen saying please wait whilst we check your account or something then it kept telling me I had an ******** (I don't). Then for the second half, I managed to log in but no sound. Eventually managed to log in using Opera browser. At least with the other lot Planet tv (?) if this happened they gave you a bit of compo. Not this lot though.

Commentators were fairly useless throughout, it was hilarious when they were trying to guess how much time was left 15 mins or so from the end.

"Well it's about five to five and I had a cup of tea 10 minutes into half time, so there must be about twelve minutes left now"

Also whoever was running the captions clearly couldn't keep up, never got a grip on the subs nor bookings.

Same.  Live matches or replays will not work with Fire or it's built-in browser Silk.  Intentional.

Mindboggling they don't have a smart tv-ready app.  It's only been 3+ years the service has been around.

i think things should have been stated a lot more clearly that you can only watch the game live with the app , as i downloaded silk on amazon firestick and everything worked fine there on thursday to test it out . ended up missing 1st 15 mins due to this but apparently everyone else had issues too , also cut out a few times 2nd half on app . missed last 10 mins as well.  if this is the future of watching football instead of going to games then im done with it . wish i waited now and put in for a full refund on 29th june ,instead of this i follow garbage.

That's what annoyed me the fact they told us to test on the highlights but it doesn't work for live games. Then it tells you to use the app but that won't let you cast to TV ( unless you have airplay apparently). Had to dig out a 10 year old laptop to use chrome to cast.

The question has to be why do they have these restrictions? Beats me

We don't have an account/login and in any case it would be several minutes behind even if we were to watch the stream on iFollow.

Not got an account Neil and it would be heavily in delay too. Tried using the BBC footage for the Man City streamed through my laptop to look back at replays but gets confusing as it was a good minute and a half behind.

Couldn't see any clock on North Stand or scoreboard as it wasn't switched on and there was.no board held up either for added time at the end of the two halves.. We were also sat two metres apart. Will remember to bring stopwatch next time.

JP made reference to the clock said it was 5 to 5 on it.

Ifollow put on the added time so presume it was said somewhere.

Anyway all trivial in the grand scheme of things, I enjoyed the commentary
