Pastor Kidneys 1,804
As we can't have Westwood then I'll go with Wildsmith. Thought he looked pretty good against Man City.

CadTheOwl 154
Judging by the split opinion on two keepers for the first spot, and the fact that Westwood is a no from Monk, the goalkeeper position has got to be a top priority for the summer. We need a clear number 1 to own that position and we don't have that person at the moment (yes you could say Westwood but unfortunately we have to forget about him).
Bouncing Owl 4,993
If Westwood is injured, I’ll give Wildsmith a go. Dawson has just made too many mistakes. I’ll be tempted to loan him to a league 1 side next year.

Would rather just forget about Monk tbh
Rodger Wylde 3,605
Goalie wag could be an option.
WalthamOwl 19,727
Wildsmith deserves to start, he played very well in his last match against Man City, Dawson was a shambles in his last match against Brentford and has been poor in quite a few games before that. For next season we need a new number one keeper imo. Edited June 17, 2020 by WalthamOwl

whatdial 1,801
It should be Wildsmith but he’ll go with Dawson
sheffwed1 664
Think we do need a keeper in the summer. Wildsmith was good against Man City don’t get me wrong but he was still at fault for their goal.
HIGHERSTATE 5,425
I think we should stick with Dawson with Wildsmith ready to step in if the first game goes ******** up.
apswfcowl 808
Both for me. Gonna need two keepers imo. Hope DC has a plan if we get caught?
MarkS43Owl 596
I honestly don’t know how people can pick Dawson. Before the Brentford game there was a big debate on who should start since Wildsmith did well against Man City. Brentford - need I say more. WILDSMITH!!
Donny El 152
Wildsmith all day long for me Dawson is great at reaction saves but Wildsmith is the better all rounder and good technically.
Road Runner 3,374
Wildsmith for me, always rated him but both are decent keepers and could be a decent battle for years to come. Dawson currently doesn't seem to have the confidence of the defence, they are panicky when he's in net, he's not very vocal to the defence and doesn't command his area very well - that can change. Good shot stopper. Wildsmith, commands his area and the defence when he plays seem more confident I'm guessing this is down to his vocals and orgainsation. Wildsmith gets the nod for me and in the summer work with both as no1 and let them battle it out while working on thier weaknesses. Unfortunately Westwood is done here for one reason or another so the focus needs to turn away from him until he moves on or is bought back into the squad.
horny owl 7,845
Stuck up for Dawson in the past but he’s been a car crash in too many games Wildsmith should be given a chance but Monk will have his favourites

adelphi1867 3,119
People are going on here about the 5-0 defeats we suffered and are Blaming Dawson but there are/were 10 other players in front of him. It's TEAM game, not a one man game, they all win as one and lose as one, but fans need a scapegoat when thing are going qrong. Don't for get, Dawson got his chance because Westwood was making the mistakes, maybe Wildsmith will start, but in reality it is likely to be dawson.
