He is not the problem. No one else is posting them stats for us. If Everybody reached his level we wouldnt have any problems whatsoever.

Them stats?

They wouldn't include THEM stats for example ?

Bannan to Forestieri deep in our half unchallenged 5 yards apart... a dozen passes to each other unchallenged!

Otherwise known in Them "stats" ratings of completed passes ....

Happens all the time in football, Bannan is one of many serial offenders ...

It's the new "Industry Fiddle" ...

It's best to actually watch what an individual does in a game to form an opinion rather than rely on Them stats ....

That's what a real like "football manager" looks at in a player ....

Decent championship player but has huge limitations. He’s 31 so not the kind of player we should “build a team around” over the next few years. Also in the last year so if he stays this season it’s more than likely we will lose yet another player for nothing. As I’ve said before plenty of other teams have done well without him playing for them.

Possibly I agree with that but, ONLY if we replace him with someone who can do his job better... only an idiot would sell him and spend two years looking for someone as good.

Bannan is easily our most productive player. Them Stats, Prove that. However if you compare the so called more important stats. The ones that really effect a game. He is a country mile away from some of the best midfielders in this division. But that says more about the rest of our team than him.

And your right. Bannan to Forestieri to Joao also used to be a thing on the half way line. But luckily we have kept the best one and got rid of the other two give me the ball in meaningless area merchants.

He might be our most productive player but those stats are shocking and aren't good enough unless you want a season of mediocrity.

1 assist every 5 games

2.33 key passes per game

54 passes per game

43 accurate passes per game (the others must be ones that end up out of play)

1.5 tackles per game

1 goal every 21 games

0.97 successful dribbles per game

1.11 interceptions per game

That's not very much to get excited about is it? What is he doing the rest of the game?

Was thinking about this earlier. He will attract a lot of interest in the summer so it’s a big decision on what we do with him.

Personally it’s a no brainer to offer him a new contract, the team is built around him.

And it's a team that has performed tremendously isn't it?

Like I said above maybe more down to what's around him than him. be interesting to see what they were like before January when we were doing well.

Moaning at team mates or referee.

Bannan also suffers from ‘playing’. He’d a world beater in some eyes if he wasn’t injured or sent to the ressies to play. FF is the best example of this. Longer he was out, better he got.
