mattitheowl
Honestly, it makes me feel nothing. It's no more relevant to me as a football fan than the winner of the Stanley Cup. 2 Just not bothered...
pachyderm
Happy to see the diversity ? At least in England and Spain there's a chance someone else will win. I like watching the Bundesliga but that's horrible that no one else wins the title, Italy too.

Putney
Not to downplay the importance of being crowned champions of your country but there are other ways of measuring success too, whether it’s winning the FA Cup, League Cup, qualifying for Europe, to name but a few. Would be interesting to see the diversity of teams for that or whether it’s the same names. For a team like Sevilla they’re probably content with having won the UEFA Cup/Europa League five times instead of having a league title in that time.

In terms of domestic cup, Barcelona have reached the final in each of the last 6 years, winning 4, Juventus have won 4 of the last 5 in Italy and are in the final this year, PSG have won 4 of the last 5 and lost in the final last year, in Germany there is a bit more variety. jamsandwich
its a farce really. Just goes to prove money begats money... The italians have been rocked by bribery so that affects possible competitors there. Remember Juve were relegated in 2006 for corruption. So to get back to where they are is remarkable. (the demise of Inter and AC has helped). Since 1991 Only one other team (Roma) outside of Juve, Inter or AC has won SerieA - thats 30years! On france Lyon won 7 titles in a row - FROM NOTHING - in the 2000s Edited June 18, 2020 by jamsandwich
Ronnie Starling
One of the reasons why Man City are in a battle with UEFA is that the elite teams dont like another team encroaching on their historical territory.
