I would guess that even if the club did offer FF a new deal he would turn it down, we all know he has wanted out for a long time. Another bit of cracking business by the club, sign a player for £3m, paid him probably close to £6m over 4 years in wages, reject offers a few years ago in excess of £12m then allow him to leave for a free. And we wonder why we are losing £20m a year and under investigation for breaking league rules. He was only worth anywhere near £12M for about 6 months of his time here. That being the last 3 months of his first season and until he refused to get on the coach to Norwich. He was worth £12m when Fulham offer £12m which I think was the January transfer window in his Second season and should have been sold and reinvested into the club and squad but instead we asked for more. The same can be said for the offers for Westwood, Rhodes, Lees all will end up leaving for frees. We are just so badly managed and now with no asset to sell, no stadium, the remainder of the first team squad will be out of contract in 12 months presumable Reach, Bannan.
