robowl4life
Finished for this season, play offs, Promotion and relegation still stand. Seems sensible decision to me.
Belfast Owl 2
Was just talking about this. Im pleased for Coventry as they are a decent club. The tribute they had to Shaun Rhodes and Steven Fairbank was a lovely touch. And their fans have suffered some poo over past few years.
smhouston
Think it's ridiculous tbh. Totally screws over any club fighting for relegation especially like Bolton. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they go out of business now because of this decision
IWEDFM
Wrong decision IMO Season should be concluded or voided but you can't promote/relegate clubs with 11/12 matches still to play

beswetherick
Farcical really. Peterborough miss out on the playoffs by the thinnest of margins (0.02 ppg) despite having the best goal difference in the league, but Wycombe get a place due to having a game in hand? Peterborough’s next game was against Bolton as well. Wycombe have already played Bolton twice. An unweighted points system is actually weighted. There’s teams who have the next 4/5 against top 6 opposition. There’s teams who have played the bottom 3 twice. Some teams have played a disproportionate amount of home games in comparison to others. Barry Fry was on talk sport this morning and claimed the EFL were offered 250m to help with the pandemic. They’d have to pay it back but, it would allow football to continue as normal in the bottom 2 divisions. The EFL declined. It’s also claimed Portsmouth, Fleetwood, Oxford and Wycombe were told to start testing last week, if so the vote was a complete and utter waste of time. Saying that, they had won 5 games in 34, were 21 points off safety and had to win 7 in 12 just to catch AFC Wimbledon's current points total. Not sure this decision screws them over as they were going down anyway. There will always be winners and losers in certain situations. Good for Wycombe, their highest ever Football League finish.
