nevthelodgemoorowl
Commemorative FA Cup winning boxed cutlery sets with zylow handles. Full set would have been worth a bob or two had they had Stag or Ivory handles. 1935 the boxed set would have cost you £8 ish. Ivory x 10 Stag x

Inspector Lestrade
Reminds me of the cutlery we had back in the 60s, when all cutlery seemed to have made in Sheffield on it.

My Mum & Dad, as school children, both went to that visit by the Queen to Hillborough in 1954 - boys were given a penknife which was rubbish my Dad said and broke straightaway - I don't know if there any of those in existance. oldtawnyowl
I remember the pen knives. Ours were distributed by our teacher about 5 minutes before 'home time' with strict instructions not to play with them but take them straight home. I had my handkerchief wrapped round my cut finger before the bell rang to end the lesson.
