They're not even getting on people's benches. Oh and Bates is still here. big fan of Windass, hope he signs at the end of the season. Wickham has looked poor and Da Cruz is a waste of space, sooner he is sent back the better (we better not bloody sign him at the end of the season). Not a clue about Bates. Wickham and Da Cruz hopeless for us. Does Bates exist?

Windass has got a couple of goals and played OK second half against Derby but in truth the game had gone and they eased off, other than that it is difficult to see where he fits in - not a wide player, not a full blown striker and doesn't look suited to play central midfield in a 4-4-2. Wickham has looked so far off the pace it has been embarrassing. Da Cruz much like Windass in a positional sense and has contributed next to nothing after a decent short cameo on his debut. Guest Kagoshimaowl
Assuming we still have moron Monk in charge so we can’t pick two of our best players in Westwood and Hutch. Wildsmith Palmer Iorfa Borner Fox Murphy Luongo Bannan Reach Forestieri Fletcher Subs: Dawson, Lees, Lee, Windass, Harris, Wickham, Nuhiu Start 4-4-2 but if getting overrun can go to 3 in midfield with Nando our wide. Having Luongo and Reach back is huge. Also dropping the hapless Dawson is vital!
Nero
Think it's also, even maybe more so these days, about where we play on the pitch. The German resumption has seen more teams pressing high up the pitch. We did well initially this season at home doing that, but by the time of say the Derby C game our pressing game was a shambles. No coordination or effort. We are one of the oldest teams in the Championship but hopefully for a 9 game mini season we can go for it. Anyway hoping to see a full on high press being deployed from game 1.
