We get pages of knocking the club for signing injury prone players over the years then we get a thread condoning it shakes head in disbelief

Doesn’t seem many are condoning it does it . Obviously we have history for poor transfers when it comes to injury prone players

Would have to be a no unless we have had every scan and test done preferably by the very best in the UK. Who will give us a money back guarantee if they are wrong.

Can you imagine the meltdowns thev1st time he gets injured.

Anyone know what kind of money he was on at Celtic?

Five figures a week. He is a very good player

when fit and would be an upgrade on Lees. I just think given our financial predicament that players like him will be probably be difficult to sign at present.

This top quality defender has just been released by Celtic and imho he would make a terrific stalwart in the Wednesday defence. It was only last year that Celtic knocked back two offers of 6 million from Italian sides. I think it’s worth a shout as he’s a proven winner.

How’s your lad been coping with the break from football John? Has he managed to keep fit?

So somewhere between £10,000 and £99,999. 😁

Yeah mate he’s now officially injury free. He’s been doing upper body strength and out doing 10k runs everyday. Jordan said he’s doing great thank you, and hopes you and your family are well.

I agree we won't be spending that kind of money.

Also think we need to avoid players who have had recent struggles with injury. Just had too many over the last three seasons.

Lets leave the injury prone over paid players and go for younger players we can mould into better players that won't cost us millions in wages and health bills.

According to Wiki in 5 years at Celtic he has manager just 75 games, he has had a 2 serious knee injury that kept him out for 7 months and this season since Sept 19 he is yet to return to the team. He also in his time at the club told the fans he would not be leaving then the next day went to Torino for a medical, the move fell through because he said the two clubs could not agree a deal but in  reality's the deal for the Injury prone Celtic player fell through because of his dodgy knee.

In the summer there are going to be a lot of very good player out of contract and if we don't pick up player than can player 40+ games a season then with our limited resources we are going to be in trouble.

Unless players leave, in central defence, we just need to add another left sided centre back to the group Because of other priorities, it’s likely to be a low key understudy to Borner. Maybe someone like Matty Foulds who’s just been released from Everton. Yorkshire born, he started his career at Bury where he became something of a teenage sensation. Now just 22, he has been let go, despite being their young player of the year

What wage is Fox on? If he’s on anything close to £10k a week we should be speaking to Hearts about Hickey and offering him his wages.

Hickey will need a fee (albeit not a big one due to his contract situation) and probably a huge sell on clause to tempt Hearts. We should then offer him Fox’s wages and hope it’s enough. It’s a massive long shot given the clubs interested in him but worth a go. Hickey might see it as an opportunity for first team football, whereas he won’t get that at City, Lazio, Bayern etc, and you never know he might consider it.
