That’s brilliant. Thank you for sharing that. Amazing memories. One thing though, could you stop putting pictures of Pessy on the star site. One of the worst players to play for us in many years!

Turner said, 'I built both of those teams in that final'.

 

No doubt Turner had a good eye for a good young player, Brunt and Whelan were great acquisitions for us. We needed a different manager to get the best out of the squad Turner had put together though - having thankfully not lived through our dark days in the 70's, 2003-04 ranks as the worst season I have seen us have.
