@owlstalk
 Cracking article about Lloyd Owusu on the official SWFC website.  A good meaty read with more than just a couple of lines of quotes and a paragraph of padding, well written and worth the click/visit to read.  Check it out here  https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2020/may/generation-ex---lloyd-owusu/  Owlstalk Shop
BARMYARMY2010
A good article/interview is that, nice to see an ex pro (regardless of who he played for) being down to earth and almost being appreciative of the career he had.
FinnishOwl
I was watching him play at Brentford once, the people there just loved him to bits.. Too bad he never made it here, seems to me he has a good head on his shoulders.
matthefish2002
I would like to ask him about the vomiting during the games. Was that nerves or some medical problem? Got a bit embarrassing after a while.
Cockers
He hit the nail on the head in respect of the players who had come down from the premier league on big money contracts. We were constantly in relegation battles in 2000-03 and that squad should have delivered a lot more. Many stole a living in that era.

Penfold
Seems like a decent bloke. Good read and he comes across really well. His attitude seems spot on. Good insight into the segregation in the dressing room. Maybe that’s why we never quite achieve what we are capable of.

Bearwood Owl1
Interesting to hear him talk of the difference between playing in front of a few thousand at Brentford and 20,000 at Hillsborough.
katie melua
Interesting that there was no mention of Chris Turner on this interview - not surprising really
Bluesteel
He fell out with the fans here when he left for Reading, mentioning the booing. Some of his celebrations for us when he started scoring in league one/div2 were confrontational with the support. But he didn’t do much at Reading either and he seems to have buried the hatchet now.  I was so pleased when we signed him as he’d been on fire at Brentford and seemed to have everything we lacked. But for whatever reason in division one he just seemed to freeze and not show what he could do. A bit like what Rhodes does nowadays. He looked good in Div2 and Kuqi was also unplayable.  By “not getting a game” I think he means someone told him we couldn’t afford him. We replaced him with Adam Proudlock!

Never really thought our fans were that bad to be honest.

nickswfc
Aside from 'first touch ' he was an awful signing.
