Stoop
The fact hat we’d struggle to come up with a side that’d threaten in league one is an embarrassment tbh Since I’ve been going (1992) I can only really think of Pressman who was top flight standard

Pressman, Sterland, Smith, Shirtcliff and Hyde were all very good players who played at top level. It's last 20 years where we've not been great bringing young uns through. Nero
Ryan Jones deserves better than he is getting here. the guys short career at Wednesday before his injury was phenomenal. Look at his stats from 93 94 - This is incredible stuff for a young Sheffielder in the top league in his first season... Ignore QPR that was season before 27 matches 14 wins 11 draws 2 defeats 6 goals from midfield I always think he is unfairly overlooked

Peter Shirtcliff would get on most Prem teams of today Mel Sterland was an international and won honours at Rangers Carl Shutt won the league with Leeds Edited May 11, 2020 by Ian
