@owlstalk
Owls goalkeeping coach Nicky Weaver has been talking about the way back to football for Sheffield Wednesday Weaver said: "We all want football back but there are a lot more important things than football and everyone's health is more important. "It would be great and I think it would give the whole nation a lift if football comes back but there are more important things than football so we will just have to be guided by what the government say." "There's being fit and then there is being match fit," said Weaver, speaking on the Under The Cosh podcast hosted by Chris Brown and Jon Parkin. "Obviously the lads will be doing the running, the cycling and I think they have got the bikes at home and all that sort of stuff but there is no substitute for training competitively and obviously playing games. "Will we need friendly games? That's a question. "All I would say is when everyone gets back is no one is going to have a real advantage over the other." "We are just waiting to see what the government says on Sunday night and then the gaffer is going to get in touch with us and let us know the plan from there. "We will sort of be guided by the government. I'm sure the Premier League and the EFL will come out with their own guidelines and we will just that follow that."
