For those who don't know, Arsenal moved to their new stadium from Highbury, and they turned Highbury into apartments where the stands used to be, with a huge square where the pitch once was!

Even the back of the stand is there as the entrance to the new apartments.

Is that how you'd like to see Hillsborough refurbished/redeveloped if/when we move?

And if so would you want to live there where the old South/North stands were, looking onto the old pitch?

The ultimate Wednesday apartment maybe?

And on signing away their souls to move to their new ground, just like West Ham, they were provided with honor after title year after year by the Devil himself.

Why is moving grounds signing away their souls.....it’s not like they moved up the M1 like MK Dons, they moved across the road.

are you so against teams that moved grounds?......you know, like we’ve done a couple of times

Nah, keep the ol lady. Just need to turn the exec boxes into massage parlour rooms so you can get hogtied off the pitch whilst the team get screwed on it. No high class escorts though, only dirty wrong'uns so the happy ending is you escaping with your life.

Most Arsenal fans I know like the new ground. Imo it's the best club  ground i have been too

( I have not been to the new West Ham or Spurs Grounds yet )

You can't compare now with then at all, we have been at our sacred ground for the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, only a handful of clubs can boast that.

If Hillsborough can be upgraded sufficiently and the location accepted and made to work from a non-matchday POV financially, then i think it's favourable to me to maintain that heritage as other than our fanbase it's the only thing we have right now.

Our time will come again but what i think Ozymandias was hinting at is that moving grounds doesn't guarantee this.

Apartments built on a former football ground, boasting the heritage of that football club (I am refering to the Arsenal entrance) would simply be a no-no for most people. They would have limited sales appeal to only fans of that club. Do you think that there are any Spurs fans, of adult (mortgage/rent) age, living in those apartments? I very much doubt it. Could you imagine living in an apartment built at Bramall Lane - forgetting our own history there - with BLADVES painted on the outside?

It's like buying a pink car and sticking eyelashes on it!
