0114
£5m for a player who is 27 is the sort of business I’m glad we are no longer conducting. Good player but wasn’t worth anywhere near that amount of money with 12 months left on his deal.

fudge27
No we shouldn't. We broke the bank before for players better then him and missed the big time cos of it, and then are back in a similar position now.

He's strong, fast, and reads the game amazingly well Owlstalk Shop

Without the successful loan with us he would have been £400k isj

Guest Jack the Hat
I really like him but the 8 million quotes were too much for a good player but who was prone to silly mistakes.

It’s a huge sum. Especially when he had 12 months left on his contract. Signing players at 27 for big money is the reason we have FFP issues. Because you aren’t going to get that money back. So for a club that needs to generate profits signing players like Hector at £5m is not “good business”. Signing players like Iorfa for a few hundred thousands at 23 years old is the better business for us.

Only parachute clubs should be spending that sort of money. The rest of us have to try and pick up bargains and frees. Which is the right way to go for us. @owlstalk
All those saying he's aged, prone to making mistakes, too expensive etc Amazing He's in the form of his life and Fulham are loving it. He's their best player right now Owlstalk Shop

At the start of this season, were we serious about promotion. Perhaps until SB left there was hope, but I saw this season as hope rather than plan.
