@owlstalk
With the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic does Sheffield Wednesday have a real upcoming issue with regards to the number of season tickets sold? Surely there's going to be an incredible loss in numbers of season tickets sold for next season (please god we get through this and start a new season) and that's going to really impact Chansiri's strategy and could even impact massively on pay on the gate prices? Even if the season returns or gets played behind closed doors we will have lost a significant part of the season ticket purchasing period where most fans renew or buy their season tickets. It's so low on priorities right now (rightly so) that I don't know how football clubs are going to pull back season ticket figures.. I really don't. I can't see how they can unless there's a real break before the new season starts.. Owlstalk Shop
lanzaroteowl
Something else to impact on the flawed FFP debacle. So DC will again have to put his hand in his pocket. No doubt there's people on here ready to give him grief.

torryowl
it seems a bit churlish to worry about season tickets ….I've bought the early bird for next season , be a bonus if I get to use it coz I don't expect too.

Season tickets - is there going to be a real issue at all football clubs who have lost all the lead time to selling season tickets? When this Coronavirus thing is over and let's hope it's soon, then there needs to be a significant period of time before the next season starts in order to shift season tickets otherwise football fans could well go back to being primary pay on the gate fans Owlstalk Shop

bobness
I bought the 10-year season ticket. If next season is canceled, will I get another year added on?

That's my point yeah. We weren't doing great since Christmas too, so that will have made people hold out getting their season tickets (we know that as this is what people were saying at the time). I highly doubt that our season ticket numbers are anywhere near what they were last season Owlstalk Shop
Harrysgame
Not renewed yet, never got round to it as was waiting for bonus in March...will still renew but money better in my bank at this time.
torres
Clubs more than ever will need the fans As usual the fans will have to bail out clubs with their money That means buying tickets - if you want a club to support in the long term

I missed early bird because I'm a forgetful so and so and then the state of our football had me really considering not renewing for the first time in a decade. Now that we're all missing the football I'm ready to sign up again as soon as I'm able
matthefish2002
Think the FFP / P&S rules will have to be relaxed after the current situation passes. I doubt any club will be able to comply otherwise.
