suffering_owl
This sits on my bedside draw. The Mrs thinks it's strange, but she won't allow it to to be situated anywhere else in house. I was also gutted at the time that Panini only gave him a 3 * rating! Edited April 5, 2020 by suffering_owl

Flat Owl
Proper footballer and one of ours. Better than Shearer and Lineker IMO.

But both a million times more professional than Hirsty. Shearer & Hirst were level pegging at one point, both playing a half for England to stake their claims. Hirst was the better natural talent, but Shearer was to prove the hungrier, the fitter, the more committed, and willing to sacrifice anything in the pursuit of success. Hirsty just carried on boozing!!! The GBH inflicted on him later by the two Arsenal thugs may have been career limiting regardless, but certainly his boozing did nothing to facilitate the healing process. Which is why the name Hirst is pretty much unknown outside of these parts & Shearer is known throughout the world.
