Well, on returning from a six hour drive from her funeral, the Police called me and informed me that they had found my Brother dead.... A house fire. It's been a tough few weeks. My Brother was born and raised next to the ground, Vere Rd and many on here may remember him Dean Dickinson Huge Wednesday fan, ex Hillsborough and Chaucer school and regular in all the local boozers, especially the Park Hotel. The funeral will only be myself attending, due to the current situation. Getting flowers has been difficult also. So that will be Aldis. All he wanted to wear was a white cover, and his Wednesday scarf. Last thing he'll ever wear. UP THE OWLS !!! 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Appreciate your thoughts. Just wanted people who knew him all those years ago to know. Also good thing about it being myself doing all the service is we can get away with the explicit version of " Always look on the Brightside of life " as they push the button. The eulogy will be full of old stories of us growing up around the ground. No one there to listen, no one can go, Mum and Dad too ill so can't venture out, so no problem if I screw it up. I hope you somehow find the strength to get through all this. For what it's worth, I believe that there is more to our being than just the grim struggle of this life and that our essence persists into the beyond.
