Has it? Where's that come from?

It might not be widely known but I've heard about a few of them - one of which was before a really important home game

We got battered that night

Mentioned it on here at the time and got poo pooe'd as a lunatic

lol

Anyway - he's been doing the odd one - is it a good idea?

A good idea? Worth continuing with?

In what way would it be a good idea?

I dunno...

A fresh voice talking to them, maybe someone they view with more respect/importance etc?

If they don't respect the manager they aren't likely to listen to someone with no football background. I know it will more likely have been the odd pep talk rather than tactics but still think it is more likely to be a negative than a positive in the immediacy before a game.

If the owner wants to speak directly to the players he ought to explain this to the manager first and do it in a formal meeting away from match day.

It’s worth a try, but looking at performances, my initial thoughts are that we should maybe try something else.

Like hire coaching staff? Don't talk daft!

I suspect he's doing more than just team talks.

I shan't say. I told you so.

I suspect you're right.

I've even heard a rumour that he's been supporting the club financially !!!

Is there any real evidence that he is? I am not doubting it but all that I have heard is that snippet from Ross Wallace. That's hardly a team talk. That sounds like an angry, frustrated, emotional  man that burst in to add his ten penneth. Are there any other concrete examples?
