Gut feel - he and Sunak will soil himself and not do it. If that is the case, the Tory backbenchers will knife him very, very quickly - within 24 hours- and install Hunt as PM, and bring Javid back as Chancellor. The plan needs to start with. 1. Underwriting the banks 2. Underwriting the insurers 3. Guaranteeing net spendable pay packets up to 80% of earnings for the employed by either tax relief / guaranteed payments 4 . Significant other interventions for the non employed sector. 5. If needed, nationalise critical businesses a la RBS. 6. Council tax/ credit card repayment/ rent/ mortgage repayment freezes. Wouldn't look good at all, regardless of how inept Boris is. They won the working class vote. Condeming them to unemployment, extreme poverty and economic destruction, as well as potentially killing them with a messed up strategy on COVID-19 - Tories would never, ever recover that. Trust me - anything less than bang on the money today and Johnson will be out very, very quickly. Hunt already positioning.

The Night-Owl
From the BBC coronavirus updates: We've just reported that the UK government has promised a £330m package to support businesses. Amounting to £330bn of government back loans and guarantees. What's the picture globally? As the potential for coronavirus to devastate economies is hitting home, numerous countries are announcing huge stimulus packages: Italy: The government has promised to "inject liquidity" to generate €340bn ($383bn) cash flows Spain: Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez says his government will spend €200bn ($220bn), in the largest spending package since Spain became a democracy 40 years ago. "The state will absorb the shock," he said France: On Tuesday Paris created a €45bn ($50bn) package to support businesses and workers. Another €2bn ($2bn) has been earmarked for small restaurants or tourism companies. That adds to the €500bn ($547bn) package promised on Monday. Germany: Chancellor Angela Merkel promised €550bn ($603bn) in government-backed loans US: President Trump will ask Congress to approve a $850bn package Japan: The country is preparing a package of up to $193bn, that could include cash payouts to households. The Night-Owl
We're looking at a year or more? Posted by the BBC coronavirus updates at 17:39 How close are we to a vaccine? Sir Patrick Vallance says that vaccines “are the answer to this” and that progress has been remarkable, but adds it’s unlikely one would be ready for mass use within a year. (i.e. also on the BBC human vaccine trials have begun in America)

(i.e. also on the BBC human vaccine trials have begun in America) Yeah and that's to start manufacture. Then you need to administer it to 7 billion people. There's a lot of people that think this will all be over in a couple of weeks. I bet plenty of borders are still closed in a year

Already started testing on humans or about to, in America, according to various reports... https://www.dw.com/en/us-researchers-start-human-trials-for-coronavirus-vaccine/a-52801697 But like @darklord said, it will take at least months or a around a year to get it approved and it could take quite a fair while longer to get it out there to those who need it across the world.
