Yep me too. Had forgotten about Meola completely.

Apparently he went to Brighton for a season after his trial with us then had a short stint at Watford.

Were we blessed with keepers in 90 ? Obviously remember Turner but who was his understudy ?

That was the goalie kit. Kevin Pressman preferred the grey version and Chris Turner the green. But if you had Umbro kit you got all of them.

Harkes was a class player. Wish we had kept him longer. Up there with the likes of Roland Nilsson has one of our best ever foreign players. Also arguably one of our most successful or genuine top world class pedigree players of all time, especially in the modern era.

I remember playing sunday mornings in the mid 80,s and there would be about 20 mullets on display..................a much maligned haircut that gets some unfair stick :biggrin:

 

The sides say "I,m serious"....................the back says "Lets Party"
