I posted this in anther thread but thought it was worth a thread of its own.

****×******

It doesn't need anybody to tell you whether to go or not. It's everybody's individual decision. Just because an event is on doesn't mean you have to go.

I have considered what  I'm going to do. I won a pair of tickets on Foundation draw before Christmas and thought this would be a good match at the time. Local derby with good away support. I have a near 400 mile round trip and it would have been my first game since Cardiff game in 2016. As an at risk person I have decided not to go for my own safety.

Everyone else needs to make a decision based on personal circumstances.

I do think there should have been a total ban on sporting events for a couple of weeks. Most of the rest of the world has done it.

Part timer.

Its funny ain't it?

You look at the fixtures, then the form leading up to this game..and you think

"fizz me....I'm not looking forward to this"

Then summat occurs and you're not going...and you feel p*ssed off

What all that about...?

I'll log onhere...and on the first

"FFS!"

I'm gonna eat a f.ookin' bat!

Boast post . You not back for Forest ?

Ha!

Just got back from the Charlton and Derby games! Not suffering that again for a while.

Next one will be relegation decider against  Boro for the last match.

I can understand if some people decide to give Saturdays match a miss in the present circumstances.

But if it's on I will be going, team is crap but will make sure I enjoy the day out as it's possible it might be last match we see for a while.

I have decided to make the trip down, 300 miles RT for me, as I really think most of the remaining will be behind closed doors. I actually will miss going, even with our current form!!!!

I'm not going as I'm in the high risk group.

If the game goes ahead make the most of it, judging by this evenings briefing by the medical bods, an inevitability that at some point in the near future, social distancing will become a reality and not long before players are diagnosed, which will then shut the league

down temporarily, as it has been in other countries and should be here TBH.

So if all the over 70's don't go on Saturday the attendance will be around 8000.

Maybe if we ban trains from Nottingham and call it Forest virus we will be ok.

If not we can blame the dirty crooked scabs and that fat Greek bloke for infecting our tremendous Sheffield people.

Chances are most people are going to catch it before it's over.

Get on with your daily/weekly routine.

Not if you are in the "at risk" section.

With the current situation regarding Coronavirus, I've decided to take extra precautions.

I will be going to the match, but I'll arrive for the second half when we are already 4-0 down and everyone has left.

Get to miss the pasting and avoid the crowds, but still get a break from the misses.

Also miss the traffic both ways. Good idea.

Going to miss this one due to a “Business Continuity planning” meeting at head office at the weekend. Code for going out for a few rounds of golf and drinks with some old workmates.
