You make your own choice whether to go or not.

I posted this in anther thread but thought it was worth a thread of its own.

It doesn't need anybody to tell you whether to go or not. It's everybody's individual decision. Just because an event is on doesn't mean you have to go.

I have considered what  I'm going to do. I won a pair of tickets on Foundation draw before Christmas and thought this would be a good match at the time. Local derby with good away support. I have a near 400 mile round trip and it would have been my first game since Cardiff game in 2016. As an at risk person I have decided not to go for my own safety.

Everyone else needs to make a decision based on personal circumstances.

I do think there should have been a total ban on sporting events for a couple of weeks. Most of the rest of the world has done it.

Fair play to you fella, no point risking your health for a game of football

Chances are most people are going to catch it before it's over.

Get on with your daily/weekly routine.

I am also going to give it a miss ,was going to meet up with A12 Owl and a few of the fishing lads , for a few beers and a social chin wag, but as I will be classed as elderly in a few months time , discretion is the better part of valour.

Agree with OP.

I'm trying to avoid gatherings.

Countries where sars hit have been far more hard-line on stopping the virus getting out.

In Europe it has been lax.

I expect a massive escalation here next week on a scale of Italy.

I think it's already fairly prevalent.

The statistics are wrong.

Very very wrong. We will definitely end up just like Italy.

There are no measures or  reason for it to not go the same way.

It's going to get ugly...real ugly.
