They should publish a special Yorkshire Post Owlstalk edition so that people who spend 8 hours a day on here can contribute their own pearls of elegantly written wisdom and we can avoid stuff penned for the general reader.

That’s the defence said by everyone who immediately slams a journalist and who doesn’t debate the content of the piece

So you think that is an insightful article  - fair enough

I happen to think the opposite as i learnt nothing from reading it

Imagine sitting on the internet assuming that a journalist has only written an article just for yourself then getting all angry at the journalist for telling the whole wide world something that you personally had already read elsewhere

Take it to the nth degree - what you are saying is that the first person or publication to break the news should be the ONLY one and that nobody else should ever repeat it

Yeah...

Cos that’s how the news works innit

ffs

What did you learn from the article that you didn't know?

Absolutely nothing that we dont talk about on here every day.

I haven't bought a newspaper in about 10 years more.

Total waste of time

If a builder is making a complete mess of your bathroom refurb you would make sure they have nothing to do with a planned extension to your property.

if you employ a builder who you know as been sacked off from his previous 4 jobs then you've really only got yourself to blame ……

These articles will be interesting to those who don't spend hours a day online, reading Owlstalk, Facebook, Twitter etc

They might be old news to us, but a decent read to some.

Bit pointless sharing it on here, unless there's some revelation.

Just gets this reaction.

You’re all cretins

lol

I might go buy a dozen to be fair, cheaper than bog roll, can use it to start a fire if needed etc.

Plus might be nice to have some reading material when all the power dies lol

Im working on weeding out those who just jump on articles like this currently

The sooner we rid the fanbase of this toxicity towards whoever they personally don’t think is a good journalist the better

I favour execution

For me, if Monk stays now then he has to oversee the rebuild. If we want someone else to do it, then they have to be brought in ASAP. There are other players aside from the out of contract ones that need to be moved on (in my opinion); bringing somebody else in at the end of the season means they have to re-assess the squad themselves and waste more time. It's a tough situation.

I agree. Logic and common sense suggests he is the rebuilder.

Am I convinced he’s the right man for us?

No!
But there has to be a platform of stability at some point that comes from continuity
