Players back training at SWFC

Recommended Posts

While he has been struggling a bit prior to the injury I think it has shown what can happen when you lose a player who has a big number of assists, we have missed him.

And , if you have a dodgy toe wear some proper boots ffs

Not orange carpet slippers

I can never understand why they don't wear shin pads in training.

It's because they're simulating actual match situations were nocunt puts a challenge in and they just run alongside or stand off them.

Because given the option no professional would ever wear them!

How often does a shin pad actually protect a player from injury.  Worse it will save is a bruised shin!  Hardly a ruptured ACL is it!

Just not bothered...

I've often thought that shinpads give players a false sense of protection which enables or allows them to tackle harder than they would without. Thus causing more injury as like u say they are essentially pointless.

If they didn't wear them...I bet we would see less dangerous tackles and less injuries.

Just more bruised shins...
